On-site inspection & measurement
We measure every roofline run, count corners and downspouts, check fascia and drip edge for rot or gaps, and note where water needs to discharge on your lot.
Itemized written quote
You get a written quote showing linear footage, 5″ or 6″ size, metal gauge, color, hanger type and spacing, downspout size and count, removal and any fascia work. Nothing hidden.
Removal & prep
On install day, old gutters come down and are hauled away. Any soft or rotted fascia is replaced so new hangers fasten into solid wood.
Seamless fabrication on-site
A roll-forming machine turns a coil of pre-painted aluminum (or copper or steel) into one continuous gutter for each run, cut to exact length.
Installation & pitch
Gutters are hung with hidden hangers screwed into the fascia and pitched toward the outlets (about 1/4″ per 10 feet). Corners are mitered and sealed.
Downspouts & drainage
Downspouts are sized for the roof area, strapped to the wall and finished with extensions, splash blocks or underground drain lines that carry water away from the foundation.
Water test, cleanup & walkthrough
We flush each run to confirm flow, clean up every scrap and screw, and walk the finished job with you.
Process FAQ
Do I need to be home during gutter installation?
Not usually. We need access to all sides of the house and an outdoor outlet for the roll-forming machine. Most homeowners are there for the start and the final walkthrough. Gates and pets need to be sorted out ahead of time.
What happens if it rains on installation day?
Light rain doesn't stop work, but we won't work on ladders in lightning, high wind or heavy downpours. If San Antonio weather turns, we reschedule to the next open day at no cost.
Do you need a permit to replace gutters in San Antonio?
Gutter replacement generally does not need a city permit. HOAs often have color rules, and homes in local historic districts may need design review for exterior changes. Check with your HOA or the City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation before work starts.
